Corvettes do well at 2005 Barrett-Jackson Auction

A pair of corvettes, a 1953 and a 2003 with matching VIN and colors, sold for $594,000 (including the 8% fee) Saturday at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. In general, Corvettes did very well at the auction....so we are not the only ones with "Vette Fever". Four club members got the experience of a lifetime by actually being on stage (and live TV) as the classics were being sold, so if you thought you recognized someone, but then thought naw....you weren't seeing things after all. Here is a picture of the '53....
