1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER - President Darrel R.
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.
Dinner reservations were made at Carlos O'Kelly's by Mark P. for 20 people +/- a few.
2. WELCOME NEW MEMBERS & GUESTS - President Darrel R.
There were 2 guests who were introduced:
Larry R. brought John L.
Bob S. brought Dan S. who then filled out a membership application and became member #370.
3. SECRETARY REPORT - given by Dale G.
- Last months minutes are posted on the club web site.
4. TREASURER REPORT - given by Chris L.
- Zeroed out car show fund bank account.
- $2700 went to Wichita Children's Home as beneficiary of the Twilight Classic car show.
- Balance of car show fund was then moved to SWCC general fund.
5. NCCC CLUB GOVERNOR REPORT - given by Karla S.
- Talked about new insurance provider for NCCC.
- Attendance is required 4 times per year. Karla attends via proxy.
- NCCC is offering a $25.00 per ticket raffle for a 2008 Corvette. 100% of proceeds donated to the National Kidney Foundation. Visit the NCCC web site at http://www.corvettesnccc.org/Conventions.html for more information.
6. VICE PRESIDENT & CLUB WEB SITE REPORT - given by V.P. Jerry M.
- Nothing to report & Jerry is out of town.
7. CLUB COORDINATORS REPORT:
a) LOCAL CAR SHOW COORDINATOR - given by Mike W
* Reports of shows attended by members
- Nothing to report.
* Reports of upcoming shows of particular interest to our members
- Bumper to Bumper car show this Saturday 11/10. Bumper to Bumper representatives would like our club to participate in the car show. Bill P. gave information on meeting place and time.
b) CLUB FUNCTIONS - given by Linda P. & Kathy W.
* RECAP OF LAST MONTHS DRIVE & DINE EVENT
Many thanks to Steve Y. for hosting the event.
18 people and 8 or 9 Corvettes attended the Oct. 20th event to Strouds. After dinner everyone when downtown to view the impressive display of the Keeper of the Plains statue.

- The annual SWCC Christmas Party will be Sunday Dec. 9th starting at 4:00 pm.
- Many thanks to Jan and Rick N. who graciously offered the Willowbend club house for the event.
- Contact Rick N. if you are interested in playing a round of golf before the party starts.
- Bring a gift to enter your name for participation in the Dirty Santa gift exchange.
- Some folks discussed a $25 limit for the gift, others said no limit. So that means it's up to you.
- Discussed modifying the "Dirty Santa" rules for the gift exchange to make it a little shorter.
- A motion was made then 2nd then passed by a majority vote to have Hog Wild Bar-B-Que cater the event. Thanks Chris L. We are all looking forward to it.
c) W.A.C.C.C. - given by Bill P.
- Nothing to report.
8. TWILIGHT CLASSIC CAR SHOW
a) CAR SHOW UPDATE - given by Chairman, Rick N.
- Of the $2,700 given to the Wichita Children's Home, $1,000 was used for foster car funding and $1,700 was used for a couch for the teen girls wing.
9. OTHER BUSINESS / DISCUSSION:
- The officer nominating committee created a list of nominations for next years club officers. Darrel made a valiant attempt to recruit and confirm officer nominations for the ballot.
- Reminder there will be a special meeting at Davis Moore 6:30 on Tuesday 11/13. The special meeting was called to discuss next years plans for the clubs car show.
