1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER - President Darrel Ro.
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.
Dinner reservations were made at Outback Steak House by Mark Pa.

2. WELCOME NEW MEMBERS & GUESTS - President Darrel Ro.
Guests who were introduced: Dave and Aleta Bo.

3. SECRETARY REPORT - given by Dale Gr.
- Last months minutes are posted on the club web site.
- Send Jerry M. or Dale G. an update if your contact or car information change.

4. TREASURER REPORT - given by Janet De.
- Contact Treasurer for details.

5. NCCC CLUB GOVERNOR MESSAGE - given by Mike Ro.
- Mike will forward NCCC info via email to the membership as he gets it.
- Talked about upcoming NCCC events. The nearest event is in Kansas City.

6. VICE PRESIDENT MESSAGE - given by Rick Nu.
- Nothing to report.

7. CLUB COORDINATORS REPORT:
a) WEB SITE ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENT/DISCUSSION - given by Jerry McK. & Dale Gr.
- Jerry turned in an $18.00 receipt that renewed the clubs .com domain name. He did not renew the .org domain name.

b) CLUB FUNCTIONS - given by Linda Pu. & Kathy We.

15 people and 7 Corvettes attended the June event.

- 1500 cars attended the Lake Afton Car Show.

8. TWILIGHT CLASSIC CAR SHOW - Show Date is Sat. Sep. 20 at Central Community Church

a) CAR SHOW UPDATE - given by Kurt G. - Lots of information here. Contact Kurt if you have questions.
- Bill Pu. and Rick N. gave us a brush up course on car show judging 101.
- Look at 4 areas of the car. 1) Engine 2) Body & Paint 3) Interior 4) Cleanliness
- Be polite & compliment the car owner on their car.
- Don't make bad comments about the car if the owner is around.
- Consider this an experience to learn more about cars.
- We'll get a sheet of things to consider along with do's and don'ts in judging.
- Ask Rick or Bill if you have any questions.
- Remember, we'll need our entire membership's help with the car show.
- Family members are welcome to help with the show.
- Our car show flyers were passed out and a picture of the awards plaque was shown.

9. OTHER BUSINESS / DISCUSSION:
a) LOCAL CAR SHOW UPDATES - given by Mike W

b) BRAGGIN' TIME - Brief report on shows attended by members last month.
- Rick Nu. and other members talked about their trip to the Bloomington Gold show. Rick talked about the awards his 1963 split window received. They also saw the largest collection (qty. 53) L88 Corvettes.
- Darrel Ro. shared with the membership that 20 SWCC corvettes went to Ponca City for the Ponca City 7th Annual All Corvette Show. Our club won $100 for winning 1st place in club participation. The president of the Cherokee Strip Corvette Club sent Darrel a thank you note for our clubs participation. Ten or eleven trophies were brought home from the event.
- Darrel Ro. and Jim Ph. went to the Salina car show. They said is was a 1st class event and there were a lot of cars there.
- Dale Gr. attended the Hot Rod Power Tour in Topeka. Around 2000 cars were in the caravan from Springfield, MO. to Topeka, KS.

C) MEMBER ANNOUNCEMNENTS
- Darrel Ro. mentioned Monte Reins (Air Capitol Corvette Club) is looking for support to bring in a Corvette engine tuner.
- Jim Gibson has 4 Corvette Rally wheels without rims for sale.
- Thank you card was sent from Jerry McK. and family for flowers sent regarding the passing of Karen's father.

10. DRAW FOR DOOR PRIZE - Mark P.
