1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER - President Darrel Ro.
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.
2. WELCOME NEW MEMBERS & GUESTS - President Darrel Ro.
Guests who were introduced: Gary and Rita Wi.
- Monte Reins and Kent Michaels with Air Capitol Corvette Club stopped by tonight.
They would like to promote the ACCC Funkhana event and engine tuner specialist coming to Wichita.
The Funkhana event flyer was broadcast emailed to our membership via former SWCC member Kent Michaels.
The event will be Sunday Sept. 7th.
3. SECRETARY REPORT - given by Dale Gr.
- Last months minutes are posted on the club web site.
- Send Jerry McK. or Dale Gr. an update if your contact or car information change.
- Thanks' brother Mike De. for taking last months meeting minutes.
4. TREASURER REPORT - given by Janet De.
- Contact Treasurer for details.
5. NCCC CLUB GOVERNOR MESSAGE - given by Mike Ro.
- Will send NCCC broadcast email updates to membership as he gets them.
- Dale Gr. asked membership if anyone attends/competes in the NCCC racing events.
Walter Da. mentioned he will be racing in the NCCC nationals this year.
6. VICE PRESIDENT MESSAGE - given by Rick Nu.
- Not present.
7. CLUB COORDINATORS REPORT:
a) WEB SITE ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENT/DISCUSSION - given by Jerry McK. & Dale Gr.
- Jerry Mck. not present but posted the following items on the web page.
- Article about the NCM and GM assembly plant with pictures of the new Corvette ZR1.
- Pictures from the Wichita Aviation Festival. Our club was invited to show our cars at the event.
- Pictures from last months drive and dine.
- Article about the Corvette model ZR1's.
b) CLUB FUNCTIONS - given by Linda Pu. & Kathy We.

Many thanks to Mike and Marcia Ro. for hosting the event.
27 people and 15 Corvettes attended the August event to Luciano's restaurant in Mulvane.
An after dinner ice cream stop was at the Derby Dairy Queen.
* UPCOMING MONTHLY DRIVE & DINE
- A big thanks to Denny and Connie Po. for hosting the October drive and dine. It will be Sat. Oct 18th.
- We need a volunteer for the November Drive and Dine.
c) W.A.C.C.C. - given by Bill Pu. and has information on the following events.
- 4th Annual Kruz'n for Kids Toys for Tots Charity Cruise is October 12.
Meet at Wichita State University and Cruise to Mid America Auto Auction
at I-135 and 47th Street. Call Cheryl 316 685 6590
- Rock & Roll Car show.
- Lake Afton Car Show may be cancelled for next year. They need a volunteer to coordinate the event.
This car show has been going on for 36 years. Call Bill Pu. if you are interested.
- Cessna Car show coming up Sept. 13th.
8. TWILIGHT CLASSIC CAR SHOW - Show Date is Sat. Sep. 20 at Central Community Church

a) CAR SHOW UPDATE - given by Kurt Ge. - Lots of information here. Contact Kurt if you have questions.
- Kurt and Karin not present tonight. Wish Karin well as she was recently involved in a car crash.
- Went over a car judging 101 flyer that was passed out to the membership
- Darrel read an email from Kurt.
- 50 cars have pre-registered for the Wichita on Wheels Reunion.
- We will need all members present to help with the show.
- One of the Silent Auction prizes is a Kansas Speedway driving Experience.
- Friday Sept. 19th is the car show walk through and rehearsal with a brief demo on judging cars.
- Breakfast Sept. 20th, 7:30am at the west side Home Town Buffet.
9. OTHER BUSINESS / DISCUSSION:
a) LOCAL CAR SHOW UPDATES - given by Mike Wa.

* Reports of upcoming shows of particular interest to our members
- Alex Ne. announced a Porsche car show this weekend. He said jokingly,
it would be a good idea to take a bunch of Corvettes to the Porsche car show.
b) BRAGGIN' TIME - Brief report on shows attended by members last month.
- Wichita Flight Festival asked our club to attend this years event again.
We had 14 Corvettes and 23 people who braved a few rain showers.
The skies eventually cleared up for a fantastic air show.
C) MEMBER ANNOUNCEMNENTS
- Reminder to ALL club members... Election of club officers is coming up.
Can you be available to server your car club for a year??
