4c) July 13th - Many of the club members participated in a photo opportunity at the Old Cowtown Museum organized by Ron & Kathy Wes. The cars were staged in front of the old train station depot.

4d) July 18th - Morning - 22 members paired up for the combined scavenger hunt & poker run.
-> The scavenger hunt ended with a tie between Jim Pha./Mike Wal. and Steve/Karla She. They entertained us all with stories of their adventures.
-> The poker run winner was Rick Cai.

4e) July 18th - Evening - Many members and spouses attended the main anniversary celebration at the Old Cowtown Museum inside the Turnverein Hall.
Everyone arrived to a very well decorated hall along with floral arrangements on each table created by none other than Karen McK. Wow, this gal has some talent!
The evening continued with a very tasty catered meal by Blue Moon Catering. After the meal, our club had a special guest appearance from VETTEMAN. VETTEMAN presented some President's Choice "Unsung Hero" awards on behalf of our club president, who mysteriously disappeared during the awards presentation. The awards for "Most Helpful" went to Kathy Wes, Mike Dec, and Dale Gre. The "Mr. Vette" award went to Steve She. and "Most Entertaining" to Darrel Rol.
A heated (and very entertaining) battle of musical chairs took place after the presentation. It turns out Bill Pul. has the fasted butt in town.
The evening eventually rounded out with a dance DJ'd by Mobil Music Unlimited. What a GREAT event!

-> The Blaha's have a new addition to their Corvette family. Cathy is the proud new owner of a black 1990 ZR-1. She added a few more miles to the very low 4,970 odometer reading when they drove it all the way back from St. Louis, MO.

7. OTHER BUSINESS / DISCUSSION:
-> Rick Nuc. talked about organizing a new Wichita event called Blacktop Nationals. It is a multi-day event planned for August 26 through 29, 2010. Rick has already presented the idea to the city managers and recieved positive response.
Our clubs involvement is still up for discussion. They will be asking many of the area car clubs to help with the event.
