1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER by President Jerry McK. at 6:30 PM and ended at 7:30
- Approximately 44 members including guests attended tonight's meeting.
- Darrel Rol. made dinner reservations at Outback Steak House.

2. NEW MEMBERS & GUESTS WELCOMED by President Jerry McK. were Darrel & Dian's son Brad, Larry Ric. grandson Shane & Iran Wheeler.

3. OFFICER TIME:
- Minutes are on the club web site and NCCC Governor sends email updates as needed.
- Send Jerry McK. or Dale Gr. an update if your contact or car information change.

4. CRUIZIN' TIME:
4a) RECAP OF PRIOR CRUISES AND EVENTS
-> September Drive & Dine:
Many thanks to Darrel & Diane Rol. for hosting last months drive & dine.
33 people and 17 Corvettes attended the August event to Hangar 1 Steak House.
-> Wichita Flight Festival:
Many thanks to Ron & Kathy Wes. for organizing our clubs participation in this fine event. There were 17 of our Club's Corvette's on display this year. The air show was very well attended with estimates around 10,000 people. With fewer aircraft on static display, the show coordinators decided to display our cars near show center.

4b) UPCOMING DRIVE & DINE - Linda Pu., Marcia Ro. & Kathy We.
-> Please contact the committee members for your chance to host a drive and dine.
-> Broadcast emails will be sent regarding each event.
-> Many thanks to the Rowley's for hosting next months drive & dine.
- DATE: Friday Sept. 18 at the Rowley's following the car show dress rehearsal.
-> Marcia Row. announced the upcoming Sept. 12 Cessna Car Show.
-> David Den. announced the upcoming Sept. 13 Cow Town Wine Mosey
-> Jerry Mck. announced the upcoming Sept. 26 Lake Point Retirement Home car show. Lake Point has invited both SWCC & ACCC to this event for their residents.

5. DRIVIN' AND BRAGGIN' TIME - Skipped due to length discussion in preparation for upcoming SWCC car show.

6. OTHER BUSINESS / DISCUSSION:

7. TWILIGHT CLASSIC CAR SHOW DISCUSSION - DATE OF SHOW - SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH
-> Tonight's primary topic was our clubs upcoming car show titled "South Winds Corvette Club along with Central Community Church along with Wichita On Wheels Reunion".
-> First of all we would like to thank the car show committee who volunteered a lot of time in organizing this event. The car show committee also thanked the members who also volunteered their time and skills in preparing for the this grand event.
-> Last years event drew over 300 participants and the car show committee is hoping for a larger turn out this year. Jerry has visited many of the area car clubs in an attempt boost attendance.
-> Jerry McK. hosted a mini judging school which covered suggestions & tips for scoring each car.
-> There will be a dress rehearsal Friday 9/18 followed by dinner hosted by the Rowley's at the Rowley's.
-> The day will start at 9am with parking our clubs cars and should finish around 6pm.
