1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER by President Jerry McK. at 6:30 PM and ended at 7:30
-> Approximately 36 members including guests attended tonight's meeting which was held at Player's Sports Bar & Grill.

2. NEW MEMBERS & GUESTS WELCOMED by President Jerry McK. were Manny Bal. who owns a 63 Silver split window fuelie.

3. OFFICER TIME:
-> Minutes are on the club web site and NCCC Governor sends email updates as needed.
-> Send Jerry McK. or Dale Gr. an update if your contact or car information change.

3a) CORVETTE TRIVIA QUESTION - given by Mike Ro.

3b) TREASURER REPORT given by Janet De. announced this month balance as $ 3,962.26

3c) TWILIGHT CLASSIC CAR SHOW FINANCIAL'S DISCUSSION
-> Car show committee met with the church to break down the financials. SWCC share of proceeds is $2500.
-> After much discussion of $ amount for charity donation, a motion was made and 2nd to donate $2000 to the Wichita Children's Home. All members in favor with no opposition.

3d) TWILIGHT CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2010 STATUS
-> Motion made and 2nd to announce Twilight Classic Car Show date of Sept. 18 2010 via the Cars magazine. All members in favor with no opposition.
-> Now we need a car show committee! Talk to Jerry if you are interested in a committee position.

3e) RECOGNIZE ANY NEW CORVETTE ADDITIONS TO OUR CLUB OVER THE LAST YEAR
-> 2007 LeMans Blue Z06 - Denny & Connie Pow.
-> 1991 Black ZR-1 - Cathy Bla.
-> David Bol. sold his MoodVette after owning it for 11 years.
-> David Den. is undertaking a frame off restoration of a 1960 Corvette go kart.

3f) RECOGNIZE MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP BIRTHDAYS & "WHO AM I" QUESTION - given by Jerry Mck.

3g) MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL DUE BY NOVEMBER 15

3h) 2010 OFFICER BALLOT - Election Committee is David Bol. Mike Dec. & Kathy Cai.

4. CRUIZIN' TIME:
4a) RECAP OF PRIOR CRUISES AND EVENTS
Many thanks to Denny & Connie Pow. for hosting last months drive & dine.
21 people and 12 Corvettes attended the October drive & dine.

4b) UPCOMING DRIVE & DINE - Linda Pu., Marcia Ro. & Kathy We.
-> Please contact the committee members for your chance to host a drive and dine.
-> Broadcast emails will be sent regarding the event.
Many thanks to Steve Yav. for hosting next months drive & dine. Save the date for Nov. 21st.
Broadcast email will be sent to all club members with the event details.

4c) Jerry McK. & Walter Da. gave an update on our clubs attendance at this years Toy Run.

4d) Annual Christmas party will be held 4:00 PM Sunday December 13th at Willowbend Country Club.
-> Please thank Rick N. for the use of the club house.
-> Hog Wild will be catering the event at approximately $7.00 per person
-> Optional to bring $25 gift for Dirty Santa gift exchange.

5. DRIVIN' AND BRAGGIN' TIME - Take the wheel for your chance to brag a little.
-> Walter Da. defended 18th place at the Nebraska SCCA event.
-> Bill Pul. talked about the Nov. 14th Cruz'n for Food to benefit the Kansas Food Bank.

6. OTHER BUSINESS / DISCUSSION:
6a) BLACKTOP NATIONALS - Rick Nuc. - www.blacktopnationals.com - August 26 through 29
-> Rick asked the club if there was any interest in participating in the BlackTop Nationals event.
-> We have the opportunity to choose from either the auction or the autocross event.
-> The auction is a multi day event and SWCC would be the primary support for the event.
-> The autocross is a single day event and SWCC would provide support to a club yet to be determined.
-> Dale Gre. agreed to meet with Rick & BlackTop Nationals to get more details to present at Decembers meeting.

7. DRAW FOR DOOR PRIZE - Won by Manny Bal.
