Busy Day for South Winds

Saturday, August 14th was a busy day for South Winds members. The day ended with a cruise hosted by Darrel and Diane R, to the old Stearman airport, where we got to witness low level fly by's and an airplane doing donuts. After some great food and refreshments, we were treated to birthday cake for our members with August birthdays. As we were leaving we also got to witness a couple of good tarmac burnouts, including an 84 footer by Terry P (awesome)! Thanks again to Diane and Darrel for hosting a wonderful event. The day had begun at the Reflection Ridge Retirement Community, where a car show was held. The event included a live band, food and refreshments which made the very hot weather bearable to those that attended. Here are a couple of pics from the event-
